The thing we fall victim to when a new year arrives
It’s a new year, we have new goals but we’re still hanging on to how things went the previous year.
We’re still hanging on to:
● The goals we didn’t meet
● The actions we didn’t take
● The relationships we didn’t nurture
● The time, people, or money we lost
● The pounds we didn’t lose
● The bonus we didn’t achieve
Essentially everything that went wrong.
Then we try to start taking action to “fix” what happened last year, so it doesn’t happen again.
And by focusing on the past, It takes away our power. Our energy. Our focus.
Before taking action, create a “funeral” for how things went in 2022.
Get out everything you’re hanging on to. The good, bad, and ugly.
When there is nothing left to say, burn it, throw it in the trash, rip it to shreds.
Now it’s time to start taking action on your goals.
