Shifting a Victim Mindset for Leadership Success
In today's challenging times, it's tempting to adopt a victim mentality:
“This is happening TO me.”
“My team is doing this TO me.”
“My boss is doing this TO me.”
Sound familiar?
We don’t know what we don’t know.
And it’s easy to get trapped by limited awareness.
As soon as we realize we’re operating from a victim perspective, we can start to ask ourselves:
Where am I responsible?
Am I communicating clearly?
Delivering on promises?
Showing up consistently?
Asking for help when needed?
It shifts our lens to be able to be in action (instead of reaction) mode and create something different (and better).
As Eleanor Roosevelt said, “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”
Don't be a victim of circumstances.
Rise, evolve, and lead with purpose.
