The Importance of Executive Coaching for Leadership Development

I set that expectation for any employee that reported to me.
I wasn’t coaching them to bring them down.
I was coaching them:
• To lift them up.
• Because I could see their potential even when they couldn’t
• To help them take that next role
• To get out of their own way
• To be the best they could be
• Because I was invested in them
• Because I truly cared about them - personally and professionally
If you’re not coaching your employees, consider that you’re saying to them “I don’t care about you”.
