Rest.
Whether you’re training for a marathon
Or
Working 70-80 hours a week.
It’s impossible for you to show up at your highest and best without it.
Take it from the girl who has stress fractures from running too much.
Barking at my team, family, and friends
Or breaking down in tears from exhaustion.
Whether mental or physical, rest is critical.
And resting looks different for everyone.
Whether it be taking a walk instead of running or doing weights
Or allowing yourself to focus on your creative genius instead of putting out all of the fires.
Learn from my mistakes.
And take incredible care of yourself.
